Children Drawing Analysis
Personal background

Children Drawing Analysis
The graphic language is an additional language for our children, through which they express their talents, behavior patterns, fears, social adjustment difficulties, maturity for first grade at school, social skills, family relationships and other educational issues that are related to children-adult relationship.
We offer a detailed review of your children's current characteristics and social status, based on the drawings or hand-writing. The drawings give us a solid basis for understanding the inner world of the child, without any need for outer observation on his behavior. meaning: the assumption is that the answers can be easily given by the child himself - reflected in the physical action of drawing.
The review will include a wide analysis of the child's abilities in various aspects of life; it will also include answers to specific questions, that were given by the parents, on different issues that concern the child.
Naturally, the review will give the parent creative tools that will help him strengthen the family ties and help in promoting the change that the parent wishes to perform in the family relationship or in the way the child is functioning in other fields in life.

More about Children drawing analysis
When coming to decode children's drawings, the emphasis I put is not on the objects of the drawing, but on the way the child has drawn; what are the reasons behind the method he chose when drawing - why did the child pick certain colors, etc.

The decoding process includes several phases:
First, I will check, in the same way as in graphology, the pressure of the coloring, location of elements on the page, size of objects, type of the lines, and more..

Secondly, an analysis will be made, based on the psychological researches that have been done in the field of children's drawing; in this phase the complexity of the drawing will be compared to the age of the child.

Third, an analysis, of the child's choices when picking the colors and the integration between those colors, will be preformed.

Through this thorough examination, described in the three stage process above, we can receive a reliable data on the child in many areas of interest: maturity for elementary school, born talents, patterns of behavior, fears and difficulties in adjustment, physiological problems, social abilities and more.

Example:
Q: Tomer, our three year old son, is a very stubborn boy; we have many conflicts with him over day to day decisions. We read that his behavior - getting into conflicts over decision making - is typical for his age. We are exhausted; what should we do?

A: As you mentioned, Tomer's behavior is indeed typical to his age, but more over - it is a way of life for him.
Tomer is a vital child with strong presence. He is aware of the rules surrounding him, but he will prefer, in most cases, to redefine those rules. Hence, Tomer will not obey to the given tasks at the exact moment requested from him. If one insists, Tomer will become even more stubborn.
At the time of anger, Tomer can become aggressive - hitting and stamping are common examples. It is also likely that his kindergartner will complain about his aggressiveness. Nevertheless, it is important to note that Tomer can and does control his anger and doesn't normally do things to make others mad - he will not scatter toys or throw food intentionally on the floor.
Tomer needs control, and since he has a born gift for math, you can start teaching him to read what the time is. Doing that, I foresee fewer objections from him to your demands; in time, Tomer will develop the ability to grasp the concept of time and it will enable him to prepare for his future tasks.

Personal background
The first time I heard about graphology was somewhat dramatic, at least for me. I was 14 years old, a friend of my mother was about to get married, but she had some doubts regarding the wedding.
Hence, the friend has decided to consult a graphologist for her opinion; when the friend came back from the session, she was very upset.
According to the expert, the friend's spouse is extremely unstable and probably suffers from mental disorder.
My mother and her friend set down together and brought up examples to establish the expert's examination. As a result of their conversation, they continued to think of a way to announce the cancellation of the wedding plan.
As one might expect, the announcement has revealed the man's true face…

Since this episode occurred, I have gained a growing interest in the field of graphology; I have collected handwritings at every chance and have studied the meaning of letters.
To enlarge my knowledge, I studied graphology for 5 years with the finest teachers in the country, learned psychology and graduated with excellence, and participated in various courses on couple and family therapy, and parents group guiding.
During those years, I have reviewed and gave analysis to handwriting in several languages - English, Spanish, Russian and Arab.

A special interest of mine is children's drawings; what fascinates me the most is the use of different colors and its meaning in the painting. During the past few years I have received education, from the masters, on children's drawings and in the specific areas of color analysis and scrabbling.
Furthermore, to achieve a wider perspective of drawing's analysis, I have made another important specialization in adult's painting analysis.
Currently, I'm writing a column in few of the biggest parentage magazines in Israel.

My innovative method of work enables me to optimize the analysis made from hand writing and drawings of all the members in the family or the persons involved in the matter. The letters and colors provide profound data and enable me to offer quick and original ideas to the problem in sight.
